Your Pro Ireland (“YourPro”, or “we”/”us”/”our”) considers the protection of your personal data and information as a top priority. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of the way we collect, process, use and store your personal information and data (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Personal Information" or "Personal Data").

This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who visit our website; and/or who register with us to post Work, with a view to engaging a third-party, independent professional to complete the Work (referred to as “you” and “your”).

YourPro is not responsible for the processing of your Personal Data that other data controllers engage in and whose websites are accessible from our website in the form of hyperlinks.

1. Collection of Personal Data by YourPro
   1. During customer registration

When you create an account to avail of the YourPro services, i.e. to be connected with a third-party professional, we collect the following Personal Data:

• Name
• E-mail
• Mobile phone and/or landline number

When you post a work, we collect other additional Personal Data. This includes:

• Work details (nature and requirements of the work); and
• Your address (if necessary for work completion).

   1. YourPro’s lawful basis for collecting and processing your Personal Data includes the following:

• Legitimate Interests: Where necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by YourPro or third parties in providing the professional services;

1. Protection of your Personal Data - Disclosure to third parties

YourPro ensures that your Personal Data is not made public to everyone. However, in order for you to receive the requested services, we may share certain Personal Data with third parties in connection with the above purposes.

Independent professionals: We share your Personal Data with independent professionals who express an interest in taking on the work you posted.

Professional advisors and institutions: We may share your Personal Data with our professional advisors such as our legal or financial advisors.

Business reorganisation: We may share your Personal Data in the event that we sell or buy business assets. In transactions such as a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership, or transfer of all or substantially all of YourPro’s assets. In these circumstances customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. If YourPro intends to transfer your Personal Data, YourPro will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice on the website such that you will be afforded an opportunity to opt out before your Personal Data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Advertising and analytic partners: We share your Personal Data with third-party advertising, marketing, and analytic companies.
